Mandela Month Community Campaign Terms & Conditions

• This campaign is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
• Employees of Foton Trucks South Africa, its affiliates, agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
• The campaign runs from 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026.
• Participants may enter via Facebook or LinkedIn, or both, provided they complete the required entry mechanics on each platform before 23:59 on 31 July 2026.

To qualify, participants must:

• Follow the official Foton Trucks South Africa Facebook page.
• Like the Mandela Month campaign post.
• Share the campaign post to their Facebook Story.
• Comment with a time that someone helped you or an act of kindness that made a lasting impact.

LinkedIn

To qualify, participants must:

• Follow the official Foton Trucks South Africa LinkedIn page.
• Repost the Mandela Month campaign post.
• Comment on the post by sharing a personal story about:

• A time someone helped them through a difficult moment; or
• An act of kindness that made a lasting impact on their life.

Participants are encouraged to share genuine experiences that inspire others and celebrate the spirit of giving back.

Throughout July, Foton Trucks South Africa may feature selected community stories submitted in the comments across its social media channels.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that Foton Trucks South Africa may request permission to share their story as part of the campaign. No story will be published without the participant's consent.

At the conclusion of the campaign, the Foton Trucks South Africa team will reflect on the many inspiring stories shared throughout Mandela Month.

One participant whose story particularly resonates with the team will be recognised and surprised with a Foton Winter Essentials Pack.

In addition, Foton Trucks South Africa will donate R1,000 to a nominated shelter or community organisation featured during the campaign, reinforcing the campaign's focus on giving back.

Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any alternative.

• The recognised participant will be selected by a Foton Trucks South Africa panel based on the authenticity, positivity and impact of their shared story.
• This is not a random prize draw.
• The recognised participant will be contacted via direct message on the platform through which they entered.
• If the selected participant does not respond within 48 hours, Foton Trucks South Africa reserves the right to recognise an alternative participant.
• The recognised participant and community donation will be announced on Foton Trucks South Africa's official social media channels during early August 2026.

• By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• Foton Trucks South Africa reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries.
• Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, offensive or do not comply with these Terms & Conditions may be disqualified.
• Foton Trucks South Africa's decision regarding the recognised participant is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or LinkedIn.

• Participants acknowledge that their name and/or social media username may be used when announcing the recognised participant or when sharing community stories, provided permission has been granted where required.
• Personal information collected during this campaign will only be used for administering the campaign and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
• Foton Trucks South Africa reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this campaign or these Terms & Conditions at any time should circumstances require.
